Just as in sport, if you don’t know where the target is your chances of “kicking lots of goals” is remote. It’s the same in business….we need targets to aim at if we want to improve….otherwise the business will tend to stagnate.
Most successful business owners will attempt to set themselves a budget or sales targets each year. Its also critical to focus on regularly measuring against these targets throughout the year in order to be aware of exactly where your business is at.

Over time and because of “more immediate” problems many of the key decisions that will lead to success are left undone and in some cases not even considered.
We help business owners in this situation to describe their vision by summarising (in writing) what they would like their business to look like in 5 and 10 years time.
This is not always easy but its absolutely critical in the improvement process because it then gives a solid foundation on which to move forward…. all decisions for change can then be made using an objective judgment of how they will contribute towards the 5/10 year goals.
